For 10 years, the film author observed the life of the film character who as a teenager gave birth to a child from her relationship with a much older man. She could see from up close the complex dynamics of this relationship and above all Alice’s desperate efforts to find her own way, a consequence of her traumatic childhood and premature maternity, full of uneasy choices. With time, the director became part of this highly dysfunctional family. The film is a story of subsequent disappearances of Alice – a sensitive girl and an artist fleeing from her demons.展开
